The size of the angler fish can go from eight inches up to three feet in length. They have a large mouth, which contains long sharp teeth. The color of the angler fish is a dark grey and goes all the way to dark brown. Only the females have what looks like a fishing pole coming out of the middle of their head, it is to help them to attract prey. When the male angler fish reaches maturity its digestive systems stops working, when that happens they start to search for a mate quickly.
