Viperfish contains luminescent organs, that will light it’s sac on the top of its body, called a photophore. They use the photophore as a way to attract their prey, by dangling it, and flashing to allure the prey. The length of the viperfish can get up to a foot long. They have four long fangs that protrude from its mouth, because they cannot fit in its mouth. They mainly live in the mid-depths of the Atlantic basin, scientist has not found out the food they eat, yet.
